The Story I Outgrew

July 16, 20261 min read

“Sometimes growth means updating the narrative.”

For years, I described my work the same way.

I had a script for it.

Polished. Efficient. Repeatable.

Then one afternoon I heard myself say it and felt… disconnected.

It was accurate.
But it wasn’t alive.

Our stories evolve.

If you’re still telling an old version of yourself because it once worked, you might be limiting who you’re becoming.

Sometimes growth means updating the narrative.

Even if the old one was successful.
